Current Available Dogs
Here are some of our wonderful rescue dogs currently looking for their forever homes:
Grady
Meet Grady, a loving and friendly boy who is sure to capture your heart! Grady is a gentle soul who is always up for an adventure or a cozy night in. With his playful spirit and affectionate nature, he is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a hiking buddy, and/or someone to snuggle with. He is about 3 years old and enjoys playing with other dogs and true to his beagle roots, he loves to sniff and explore! If you are interested in this handsome pooch, please fill out the adoption application found at www.countryclubkennels.org, or feel free to call us at 540-788-3559.
Julian
Meet Julian, a loving little lap dog with a big heart! This 3-year-old Chihuahua mix with beautiful blue eyes and colorful coat is a bundle of affection, always ready to snuggle up and shower you with love. With his gentle soul and playful spirit, Julian will be your loyal companion, offering endless cuddles and a listening ear (or, well, a paw to hold). He's the perfect size for your lap and will keep you warm on chilly nights. Julian is a sensitive soul who just wants a forever home where he can feel safe and loved. He is shy at first but warms up very quickly. Could you be the one to open your heart and give this little guy the happy ending he deserves? If you are interested in this angel baby, please fill out our adoption application found at www.countryclubkennels.org, or feel free to call us at 540-788-3559.
Bones
Bones is a cute 5 year old chihuahua that we recently got into The Chance Foundation so we'll be learning more about him and his personality as we have time to work with him and care for him! So far, he's a shy little guy but still incredibly sweet! If you are interested in this handsome little guy, please fill out our adoption application found at www.countryclubkennels.org, or feel free to call us at 540-788-3559.
Ace
Ace is a 3 year old golden retriever mix with a lot of energy to give! He was an owner surrender and was given up due to the owner having health issues. He can be a little leery of new people at first but warms up quickly. He gets along well with other dogs with proper introductions. He is not your standard golden retriever; he had a rough start to life. He may be protective in your home, and he can be naughty at the vet. He will require an experienced, not first-time dog owner. Given time and understanding you will come to find his amazing personality shine through! If you are interested in this handsome boy, please fill out our adoption application found at www.countryclubkennels.org, or feel free to call us at 540-788-3559.
Bruno
Bruno is an adorable 6 year old chihuahua that we recently got into The Chance Foundation so we'll be learning more about him and his personality as we have time to work with him and care for him! So far, he's a little spicy at first but warms up very quickly and once he's comfortable with you, he is very loving! If you are interested in this charming little guy, please fill out our adoption application found at www.countryclubkennels.com, or feel free to call us at 540-788-3559.
Joey
Joey came to us from Gilmer County Animal Shelter all the way in Georgia! He is about 2 years old, and we were told he made his way to the shelter due to his owner passing away. He is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly. He is friendly with other dogs and enjoys running in the paddocks. He bonds quickly to his human and would love nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie with them. If you are interested in this cutie pie, please fill out our adoption application found at www.countryclubkennels.org, or feel free to call us at 540-788-3559.
Cash
Cash is a 3 year old male, neutered, up to date on vaccines, malamute weighing in at approximately 75 pounds who can be good with other dogs, kids and only slightly interested in cats. He is a super sweet boy that unfortunately was rehomed due to divorce. Cash grew up with a shepherd mix. His original owner fed everyone separately but Cash's recent adopter preferred everyone eating together and Cash was exhibiting resource aggression (growling or barking). We believe because of this Cash may be best as an only dog unless you have experience with this breed and patience to work him through group meals. Cash is a high energy dog, if you are not familiar with the breed. He prefers men to cuddle with. He is crate trained, house broken and needs a fenced yard. Cash is ready to meet his new furever family that has patience and acceptance of his needs as it is tramatic to be uprooted from the only home you've known for the first three years of your life. If interested please fill out an application. If interested in him, please contact Lynn Pletch at 540-359-5718. Thank you!
Skipper
Skipper is an about 2-year-old handsome hound looking for his forever home! He is a very shy boy just making his way to us from West Va. He needs a compassionate, kind, patient, loving family to bring him out of his shell. He will observe you from a distance at first, his soulful eyes full of curiosity. He has a gentle nature and is good with other dogs. He will need a fully secured fenced in yard so he can run around safely. With time and patience his confidence will blossom, and you will be rewarded with a new best friend. If you appreciate a quiet, calm companion and want to watch a shy pup learn to trust Skipper is the boy for you! Please fill out the adoption application found on our website, countryclubkennels.org, or feel free to contact us at 540-788-3559/countryclubkennels@gmail.com
